MULTIPLE POSITION VACANCIES

A Lime processing company in Lusaka West invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates to fill the following positions:

1. Boilermakers (2 Positions)

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Craft Certificate / Trade Test in Boilermaking or Welding & Fabrication
  • TEVETA certification (added advantage)
  • Valid competency certificates in welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) – if applicable

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience in an industrial, mining, or manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in:
  • Fabrication and repair of boilers, tanks, chutes, hoppers, and structural steel
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components

2. Electricians (3 Positions)

Requirements:

  • Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years proven practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, and fault finding
  • Experience in Optical Fiber Cable Fusion (splicing and testing)
  • Experience in High-Voltage (HV) Cable termination and jointing
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Valid practicing license (where applicable) will be an added advantage

3. Riggers (2 Positions)

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Certified Rigger (Trade Test / TEVETA or equivalent)
  • Valid Rigging Certificate from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience in rigging operations
  • Sound knowledge of lifting equipment (slings, shackles, chains, wire ropes, hooks)
  • Ability to inspect lifting gear and identify defects
  • Good understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and hand signals
  • Familiarity with cranes, hoists, and winches


General Requirements for All Positions

  • Must be aged 18 years and above
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork skills, good attitude, and integrity
