RESEARCH & INSIGHTS ASSISTANT (4 – TEMPORARY, 4 MONTHS)
Locations: Lusaka (2) & Kitwe (2)
The Research & Insights Assistant is responsible for supporting Zambeef Products Plc’s customer experience and market performance research through the execution of field interviews, accurate data collection and management, and contribution to high-quality research outputs.
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Conducting face-to-face interviews with consumers according to the sampling plan.
- Applying study screening criteria to ensure eligible participants are selected.
- Administering questionnaires and capturing responses using mobile data collection tools while maintaining accurate and complete records.
- Assisting in delivering in-store activations, events, and trade show product sampling activities.
- Ensuring ethical research practices, including respondent consent and confidentiality.
- Assisting with basic data cleaning, daily uploads, and field reporting.
- Participating in trainings and briefings to understand research goals and quality expectations.
- Supporting quality control checks, including re-interviews or supervisor spot-checks.
- Supporting basic data analysis activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or University Degree (completed or final year) in Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience; previous experience in research, retail, trade, or in-store activations is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages is an added advantage.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for data entry and data capture.

- Attention to detail with strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work collaboratively under supervision and follow research protocols.
- Willingness to work in the field and during activations when required.
