PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: KALUMBILA – LUMWANA
1.0 SURVEYOR
Primary Qualifications:
• Degree in Surveying or related field
• Proficient in surveying tools
• Ensure adherence to legal and environmental regulations
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Setting out, data collection and analysis
• Site measurements and boundary survey
• Able to work outdoors in various conditions and terrains
• Attention to details, excellent communicator and teamwork
• Valid membership certificate with Surveyors Institute of Zambia
2.0 BATCH PLANT MANAGER
Primary Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil or mechanical engineering
• At least 10 years technical experience in concrete batching or plant operations
• Problem-solving and decision-making skill
• Specialized training in concrete/asphalt technology is added advantage
• Must be quality focused and ensure Health and Safety compliance
• Ability to coordinate efficiently with project teams
• Inventory and materials management
• Must have a valid EIZ membership certificate
3.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
Primary Qualifications:
• Must be a Zambian Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety and other relevant safety training
• 10 years experience in construction or Mining
• Strong knowledge of construction safety laws and standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of construction laws safety regulations and quality standards
• Familiar with ISO 45001
• Must have be a paid-up member of Occupational Health and Safety Institute (OHSI).
4.0 SENIOR FOREMAN
Primary Qualifications:
• Grade Twelve Certificate.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction, with exposure to concrete, civil and earthworks.
• Able to interpret construction drawings
• Ability to lead and coordinate teams, allocating tasks and mentoring personnel
• Safety conscious and enforcements
• Understanding of materials, construction methods, tools, and basic surveying
• Able to report records of work progress, labour hours, materials used and site incidents
• Valid membership with EIZ
5.0 CONCRETE FOREMAN
Primary Qualifications:
• Grade twelve certificates
• Diploma or Craft Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Bricklaying, or relevant trade
• At least 7 years’ experience in construction
• Experience leading small teams, allocating tasks and mentoring personnel
• Able to interpret construction drawings
• Safety conscious and enforcements
• Understanding of materials, construction methods, tools, and basic surveying
• Able to report records of work progress, labour hours, materials used and site incidents
• Valid membership with EIZ
6.0 SITE ENGINEERS
Primary Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• 5 years’ experience in construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical knowledge of engineering and project management software including AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft project
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Must have a valid EIZ membership certificate
